'clearing the DNS cache'

i'm trying to repair my ethernet adapter/wireless pci card and it always says clearing the DNS cache, cause the only thing thats happening through both of my connections is it saying its acquiring network address.

try this in a command prompt:

ipconfig /flushdns

since i got comcast i found this document from linksys telling u how to set everything up so i'll follow all of this carefully.
