Can I put my desktop CPU into my laptop?
I did some research before coming on these forums and am still only considering it because the CPU that I have runs cooler then normal, and is able to operate on low voltage.

The CPU that I have is a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale (3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor)

And my laptop is an Asus X83VB-x2, and the specs can be found here:

Thanks in advance. =D

Nope. The CPU is probably soldered into the motherboard. Plus, that CPU would probably overheat and damage the notebook in the long run.
