Buying a laptop
 
Hey i just joined these forums because ive been looking arround for a laptop thats good enough to play world of warcraft but wont cost me an arm and a leg...ive been looking at dells and there not that cheap also i know almost nothing about laptops. Id like a media center pc with a decent hard drive and a nice video card.Thats about it if guys got any ideas please share. Oh yeah i live in canada so if your talking in Us$ please say so

your probably not going to get away to cheap if you want to use the laptop for gaming...your going to need some decent specifications to be happy....going to cost you in the neighborhood of $800 usd at a minimum i would think for a decent laptop....dell is probably your best bet, or maybe an hp but with the hp you can't pick and chose your configuration.

budget is about 1400$ canadian....that should give you a beter idea i should have specefied that.

I think you should get a Dell Core 2 Duo laptop.

You can configure those to match your price. It's a Dell Canada site so it's perfect. Try getting at least 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a Core 2 Duo processor.
