Business Computer working with graphics

Hello, I'm looking for a very powerful computer (without monitor) with at least 8GB of memory (expandable memory to at least 12GB) with at least a duo-processor. With Windows 7 operating system. For around six hundred or less.

It will used for a lot of graphic and software programs like photoshop and audio editing products. I hope someone can help me.

Are you willing to do a custom build?

BTW, I would not get 8GB of RAM for a $600 budget computer. Save money to improve the rest of the system. Chances are that you will never use 8GB. 4 is the most that you should need.

Building my own? It would depend. I have a 4GB computer now after upgrading from a 2GB and it's better but have trouble with some programs with very large projects. If not 8GB. 6GB would be the minimum.

There is a lot more than RAM involved. If you are doing graphic work, chances are that your video card is not up to the task. Next time that happens, hit control alt delete, go to task manager and note how much physical memory it says is being used.
