ive been reading about my motherboard and apperently it has issues with going over 250fsb with 2GB of ram and staying at 1T which is a problem i had a few days ago, asus's solution was the premium but i dont want to get another asus so im looking at the DFI ultra D, does anyone know if this board will have the same problems or should i go ahead and get it?

The Asus A8N SLi Deluxe has had some issues with staying at 1T. The DFI has excellent overclocking potential and from what I have heard from other forums and friends the Ultra D is a very stable board. If you power thirsty then the DFI all the way.

ya thats what i was thinking but before i buy the DFI board i want to make sure i wont run into the same problem as i did with the asus board i have now

okay, first off the Ultra-D and the SLI-DR have this 4V jumper on the motherboard. DONT USE IT. It will instantly kill any RAM installed on the motherboard when powered on. Thats the main thing, and the Ultra-D is moddable to SLI.
