audio/video sync?!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

i cannot find ANY program in the whole freaking world that will convert videos without the audio/video being out of line! i've tried everything! i'm trying to convert a MPEG to MP4 (for my ipod).

theres this piece of crap dell at the mall and the only thing good in it is its video card and i played battlefield 2 with the HIGHEST settings possible and it ran so freaking good!!!!!!!!! I NEED A NEW F-ING VIDEO CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
