Hi, sorry if this is a daft question, but I got a custom build pc about 2 years back now. It has an ASUS P6T SE motherboard installed with 2 * 2 sticks of ram in it. Now, on this board there are 6 slots, alternating in colour, so,
black, red, black, red, black, red
Now i know that ram needs to be installed in pairs but mine does not appear to be at the moment, 1 stick is the in the first black slot, and the other is in the second black slot. This seems odd to me, however, all 4gb is recognized. So my question is, if i want to install 2 * 4 gb, where should i install it into?
