Here's the cpu support list for your particular board: http://www.asrock.com/support/CPU_Support/show.asp?Model=P4S61 It may just be that the BIOS of the board needs to be updated in order for it to function fully with a P4 3.0 ghz. Is your cpu Prescott or Northwood?
