Although I love Intel and would recommend it all the time; for Future Proofing get the AMD64. The 64-bit will start becomming noticable I think pretty soon.

im an AMD fan lol check out my computers i have the AMD 64 bit processors it kicks ass i have never known a processor like it.

The Cache on the Intel HT EE is brilliant! If they did a 64-bit when I brought mine I would have got it - I only got this for future proofing and the possibility of Beta Jobs on new 64-bit stuff.
