Acer One A150-AW netbook problem

Hi,
recently bought an acer One netbook and i rarely plug it in to the mains, well only when it needs charging. Recently the battery has seemed to be running out very quickly. So i charged it up to 100% and turned it off, the next day i turn it on and the light is flashing saying that there is no charge in the battery, but i knew that i charged it up to 100%.

Do you think that is might be faulty??

Take out the battery, blow out dust from the connection, and reseat it.

Then allow it to charge all the way again. Turn the unit on and let the battery drain completly (this may require turning off powersaving fetures) Recharge the battery and it should be back to normal.

Otherwise the inverter on the laptop's motherboard may be failing and not charging the unit correctly.
