8800gt vs 8800 gtx

So which is the better bang for the buck? And, with sli would 2 8800gt's smoke a 8800gtz? This is for gaming.

Get an Intel Q6600.

That is probally the first processor that wouldn't bottleneck a 8800. An E6750 might not either, but anything else would.

Any core2duo that you can get to overclock to roughly 3.2Ghz-3.3Ghz will not bottleneck a GTX. A E6750 or Q6600 not overclocked is a bottleneck. You need to overclock them to allow them to work at there full potential.
