2nd internal hard drive

im running out of space on my 20 GB hard drive; i have a dimension 4400, and i'm fairly sure that it has a slot for another internal hard drive. i figure it would be pretty easy to install a second one if i had instructions on how to do it, right? also, what are some good brands of internal hard drives? thanks.

just go get another drive, open up the case, look and see if there is another space right under the first drive, slide in drive 2 into slot, find a plugin that fits and thats it really.

and then i have to format it right? or will windows just automatically recognize it as another drive? what would that be called (drive E/F/whatever)?

it'll recognize it, but you have to do something with the little white piece on the back of it to make it master or slave. when you install it, format the new drive so it wont bring in any foreign files or whatever. check google for the master/slave thing.
