2 hard drives not working properly

my computer has two harddrives they are both 80gb and once one fills up the computer doesnt automatically start filling the second hard drive it will just not allow me to download any more files. I want it so it will automatically start using the second harddrive once the first one fills up how do i do this? i have windows vista

The only way this is going to work is if you have a RAID controller on your motherboard and use the JBOD array.

The JBOD array will fill the HD's accordingly.

how do i find out whether i have a RAID controller on my motherboard?

Download CPUID

Run the application and click the mainboard tab.

It'll show you what motherboard you have.

Preety much what he says. You could also mount the other drive to an NTFS folder, but that still won't automatically fill the two drives, after one's full.
