Hello again, I have finally came up with a great build plan after a few weeks of planning. Its my first actual build, since my last computer was a $300 expansion of a cheap hp.
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 740 Black Edition @ 3.0Ghz
Mobo: ASUS M4A89GTD Pro w/ AMD 890GX NB
Ram: Gskill Ripjaw 4Gb DDR3 1600
CPU cooler: Scythe SCKTN-3000
Video Card: Dual Gigabyte Radeon HD 5670 900MhzOC in CrossfireX
PSU: CheifMax 450Watt PSU (older comp)
DVD-r: Sony Opticar 24X
Total Costs: $563.90
Rebates: -None-
Why the 5670?:
I was able to max out hl2 on my grandpa's new motherboard chipset( amd 785G+HD4200), Since I only have 375 bucks right now, I will be using the motherboards chipset for a while (amd 890GX + HD4290) until I save $100 to get the first card, however, If I do not need the first card(if the chipset is faster than I think) I will spend it elsewhere.
Triple Core: I do not run 4,380 programs on my desktop, yet, most of my games are dual/triple/quad core enable-able, I didn't want a $188 Cpu, so I chose the AMD 740.
CPU Cooler: The Amd 740 is OEM only, so I need a cooler for it.
This is my first complete build, no extensions, no addons, so I think it needs its fair share of criticism, nothing is perfect.
