1155 Socket

Hey guys.

is the mounting for 1155 the same as 1156 ?
my cousin getting me a EVGA board and an I7 2600K.

i am using a Noctua DH-14 hsf on my AM2+ mobo wanting to use it on the newer I7, wandering if i need a new back plate ect

Yes. In fact I'm using a Noctua NH-D14 on my 1155 right now.

good deal. you usingyourstock 1155back plate with the 1156 bracket that came with your Nactua ?

Yeah, you don't take anything off of the motherboard, you just install the bracket exactly the same way you would on an 1156 board.
