Currently, I'm debating between these two monitors for my new PC:

Both are essentially the same thing, but the Sceptre one has an HDMI port

This monitor is going to eventually be used for my new build (if I ever get it built...), but I'm also going to use it as a display for my Xbox 360 since I don't have an HDTV. I already have the VGA adapter, but what is the max resolution of it? From what I've been hearing, the 360 is gonna get HDMI support soon, and if that has a significantly better resolution than the VGA can give me, I'll pay the extra money for the HDMI.

VGA can still output 1080p, but HDMI is digital and it has higher bandwidth.

It never hurts to buy the one with HDMI...at least you'll futureproof yourself for other things like an HD-DVD player or whatnot.

Yeah, I was actually just looking at the specs for the Sceptre (w/ HDMI), and it has a detachable stand. That would look sweet wall mounted in my room, so I think I'll go with that one.

A lot of monitors are VESA compliant. You just unscrew the stand and buy a wall mount. :p

Yeah, but apparently the Acer's stand isn't detachable. Oh well, I'll be happy I paid for the HDMI later.

Ah, yeah it depends on the monitor. Most are VESA compliant, but some aren't.
