Skyrim problems

Hi, I have moved my computer upstairs onto a monitor instead of the living room t.v I had it on, for now I have had to put it on a cheap monitor until I can afford another, it seemed to be working fine (although visibly poorer quality) until I walked into The Banered Mare, as soon as I looked in the direction of the fire the whole screen started flashing green, and the fire was just a load of colour, does anyone have any idea's what is causing this, and if it can be rectified?

I have now solved this problem, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, this is something I didn't actually want to do, as my wireless network card is poor, I had to move it up one floor to get a half decent signal so I could install the game, as before the internet was that slow it just wouldn't do the update required, really annoys me that I can't just install a game with out steam
