the future of gaming is here!

as you guys may or may not know, not only is the oculus rift going to be a piece of vr hardware but sony has a headset called project morpheus. I personally think vr is the future. it opens up so many avenues, not only in game design, but software development, military applications, etc. what do you guys think?

I personally think that we will see another gen of console before this takes off properly. Take the Wii as an example, how many people that have one actually play it as much as the other consoles?

But I will say that this is a positive and long awaited step for the future of gaming.

(The next line is based on very little knowledge of the new Sony thing) Maybe companies should target PC gamers as well as just console gamers.
