I'm pretty sure my computer is infected, but I'm not sure if its real viruses or just Avira acting up. Avira gaurd comes up with at least 15-16 if note more "notices" about a program called TR/Vundo.Gen located in the c:\WINDOWS\system32\fajodete.dll. It comes up multiple times even after I move the file to quarentine and delete it.
I downloaded Avast, updated files, and ran that scanner. It only found one virus by a different name and deleted it. I then tried to uninstall Avira thinking it was the program, when I got half way through the uninstall process I got the blue screen of death. I tried again 2 times with the same results.
Has anyone else experienced this or has any idea how to fix it?. If I leave the Avira guard off my computer seems to work fine, but I have no way knowing if the "deteced viruses" are legit or not.
Also: If it is avira causing the problem, would you suggest switching to avast for the future?
Edit: after starting up windows after system crash I get two messages
RUNDLL : Error loading C;\WINDOWS\system32\heproate.dll
and
RUNDLL : Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\reveraza.dll
Anyideas?
Thanks
