What do you mean guarantee or verify? you mean say "yes these are apps" or that they wont cause crashes/install viruses/are secure/work as advertised/any of the above?

Try out Free software downloads and reviews - Softonic
It's all categorized and it has no software that cost money up front.
They do however have alot of trail software, but they make it very clear if the software is trail or not.
Also you are not gonna find viruses. you might however find crapware when you install some of these free softwares.
Crapware is useless software that follows another program. Typically when people get this kind of software it's because they didn't click the checkbox that said "i don't want to try out this free software". Just remember that and you will be all set.
