Default Weird

I have AVG on my sisters laptop and it was saying that all of the "gateway games" were infected, but the files were to big for avg to remove them itself. so i just used ccleaner to uninstall them and all is well so far. any idea what the problem was? its a windows 7 laptop. anyway thanks for your times

Bad install of avg maybe? That, or the files were corrupted. I don't use avg though, mse works fine for me. Microsoft Security Essentials.
