Default Virus

I have window 7, I have a Virus Mal_koob-4 is the threat name, I have trend Mico Antivirus and when I go to view location it tells where it is but I cannot find that location on my computer. I am looking for a way to delete this off of my computer, any help greatly appreciated

Must admit I've still had more success overall with Spybot - though Malwarebytes has got rid of some things the former couldn't. A combination of those two should put you on track.

I personally do spybot first. With lots of root kits and stuff malware bytes often corrupts windows so the less it has to move the better.
You have set it to show hidden files i guess?

What has JAM_EZZ been smoking? Malwarebytes does not corrupt Windows in any way.

i agree. a combination of malwarebytes and superantispyware is alll you need.
