Default saving a cd

hi, this cd i got is from school and i have to give it back. It won't let me save the disk to my computer. is there a program that will save it to my computer?


edit: sorry had to edit the word disk, to appropriate saying.

what type of disk? music, program?

its says a dvd-rom on it.
it doesnt hold music, its like it shows a a tour of he school, like it has some pics and vids.

you can get a virtual cd druve program. basicly what they do is backup the entire cd or dvd to your hard drive, but the info still appears as a cd. so when yuo back up the cd, there will appear to be another cd drive, but its really on your hard drive.
