Well, I have 3.03 (or something like that, I know its in the 3 series) firmware, and it does on that. I don't know about the other versions.

You should reset it, then reconfigure it. Write down all the info.

If that's not possible, you could sniff your own wireless packets. I guess it's "against the rules" for me to tell you how but, remember Giyf (sometimes).
