Default Proxy Settings

How do you turn on/off proxy setting for a network, and where whould you find it?

THis network has 2 servers and 63 firewalls? But i'm a student, so they restrict students from downloading! HOW?

Internet Options >> Connections >> Lan Settings.

The downloads will normally be stopped at their proxy, try using a proxy for what Downloading software(s) your using.

good call, but I don't have access to the internet opitions.

There is a file where the settings were place too. But I don't know where to look? They have a Shared Drive, but I am not quite sure which file it's in.
