possible dialer.. HELP

i have a wireless internet connection, but occasionaly the dial up tone starts ringing spontaneuously while im on the net. The volume on my volume control automatically changes from highest to lowest meaning my sound is off and then the dial up tone starts.. whats wrong with this and is there anyway to fix it ?

Maybe , your computer dial out another country, a kind of spyware.
