Default Need help to remove babylon search

Uh I can't get rid of babylon toolbar and the disgusting babylon search from my firefox. I aleady removed it form the "Add/Remove program" option, but it's still there when i restart my pc. It must have something to do with the registry, but I can not able to clean that. The other day someone in yahoo answers suggest a babylon toolbar uninstall guide. It requires to download an antivirus not heard before,I just want to make sure everything won't go wrong again. so does anybody knows about this product or is there a easier way to remove this everyone hated toolbar?

I've seen this crap toolbar many times. Follow the steps in this thread and you should be able to remove for good.

So I ask you, what do you intend to do now?

You should be able to remove it from the Addon section of Mozilla Firefox. If not, try to reinstall Mozilla Firefox. That should fix the problem.

Even though iPwn's thread is of great detail and quality, it's a little too much for removing a tool bar.

As Christoffer said, remove the addon, but also remove the program in the control panel.
you are lucky to only have babylon, i'ts one of the easy ones to remove.
