Hi, I am using a Mac OS X
with Tiger.

I would like to create a "locked folder"
A folder not open-able even by the admin unless he/she inserts a password specific to that folder. Does anyone know how to do this?:confused:
It would be great if you could help. I have some basic Unix skills so I might be able to utilize some source code.

Thanks

Henrymou, check it out;

http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=273704

quote from the link above

Disk Utility -> New Blank Image -> Set size generously, Encryption to AES-128 and Format to sparse disk image (that way the image will only take up the space of whatever you put into it). Choose a safe password and verify it but remember to uncheck the Remember password (add to Keychain) check box (this also applies the first time you open it).

found it through here http://www.google.com/search?q=create+a+"locked+folder"&btnmeta=search=mac=Search+Mac+Sites

hope this helps.
