Default How to find the location of our WSUS server?

Can someone tell me where to look to locate where my pc running windows 7 pro is getting it's updates. We have a WSUS server but not sure of the location? I don't have access to the group policy update policy to see the WSUS address.

Should I check the update log files, use wusa.exe, windows update panel under update history, upstalled updates, etc, where?

Thanks
Bob

go to command prompt and type rsop.msc

then go to

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update

all the setting should be in there. Let me know if u need more info as I have implemented WSUS at my work place

You could run tracert via commandline when you checking for updates.

another way could be

Click start > regedit

then browse to \HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\WindowsUpdate

take a look here and in sub folders and see if you can work out where its updating from there

Thanks for the replies
I was unable to find a value that correlated with a server ip or fqdn under HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\WindowsUpdate (though it might be I didn't know what I was looking for in there)

I was able to locate it in the C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log
