Default how do i enter....

I need to know how to enter cmos. My friend told me to shutdown my computer and that when its booting up press F5 but it doesnt work. Does anyone know what key to press or do to enter cmos.

It isn't always delete, it depends on your motherboard. If it isn't delete, it usually is one of the "F" keys.

Yep it depends on the version, most of the startup shortcuts are the function keys ... but for my version, i just need to press delete
I would check the manual to find out which one

agreed, but most computers I ahve found F8 is the common button to get the advanced startup menu.

be careful,messing up with CMOS could cause trouble on your hardware. i mean serious trouble...
