Default re: hijackthis

Please don't post ur hijackthis log file without someone asking for it, but because I am nice:

Check these out:
C:\Program Files\Creative\Shared Files\CAMTRAY.EXE
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LDM] \Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe -- LiUtilities
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [pshower] C:\WINDOWS\System32\pshwr.exe -- Spyware, disable this one

Default re:firefox

may I ask wat you mean by "go with firefox"...he had spyware on his computer! It doesn't matter what browser he is using, he still has spyware and he needs to learn how to get it off...that is the underlying purpose here...

-thecoolkidontheblock

plus five lines goes as follows:
Running processes:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe

obviously five crucial window process reflect whether he has firefox or not...

thecoolkid, I believe MarxSoccer's point was that if he had been using Firefox he wouldn't have gotten that spyware in the first place. Which is true, since Firefox doesn't feature ActiveX.
