Default Help

I downloaded something, i am under the impression it has a virus, although no virus shows up. I CANNOT delete it. I downloaded force delete and it still won't go. what to do?

Load the computer into safe mode, see if it gets rid of it from there.

What AV are you useing?
Do you know what virus it is and what its doing?

Have you tried uninstalling it from ad/remove programs? what was the program? it sounds like it has a hidden exe file in you registry somewhere.

Download a program called GIPO@MoveOnBoot it forcibly removes the program before widows has a chance to say no ( If it helps gimme sum credit plz I hate being branded a noob)

What AV software are you using? Also, are the AV definition files up-to-date?

When you try to delete it what message does it say?
