Default Getting around campus P2P restrictions (legit reason)

My school blocks torrents and other peer-to-peer activities, which I understand is pretty normal. However, WoW's update client uses p2p, meaning I can't update. I have tried to get the individual patch mirrors, but it doesn't seem to be working. Can someone give me a solution to bypass this? I am hooked directly into the wall via ethernet and don't have access to my school's network, so I can't unblock anything myself.

I have tried tunneling using SSH but that did not work. Any ideas would be a appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that there is a way of getting WoW to download over HTTP...

Also, SSH Tunneling SHOULD work. Did you tell your Torrent program to use a localhost:<tunneledport>?
