As Card suggested, I have used video2mp3 with successful results! I was thinking of building my own YouTube converter... perhaps in the summer!

Just use what i suggested, only requirement for it is Java. Works like a charm everytime i use it.

You can use Firefox with the Download Helper add-on installed. When you are watching a video on Ytube or everywhere else you can right-click anywhere on the page and select DownloadHelper then Media then Download. You can download pretty much everything that is video from the internet with this.
