It's where multiple computers send lots of requests to a server at the same time, slowing it down considerably or even making the website fail to load completley.

ok, I just can not see how one person can send so many requests to a server at a time that it takes it down. I have heard of it happening before but it is just kinda un real.

yes and teh DoS attacks on SCO's website are uncalled for. It's an old issue that I'm tired of hearing about.

and yes. Linux does have SCO code in it.

and why some of these leet linux people keep having love orgies about it is creeping me out and makes me pukiez.

thats why I stay away from em!

anyways DoS ing SCO.com was still uncalled for and its a very old issue.

I am sure that is not the only site that has been attacked with DoS though.
