Default Cold boot disk encryption attack

http://www.engadget.com/search/?q=cold+boot

Real bad for anyone who carries sensitive information on their laptop. Don't leave your laptop unattended. Apparently it can be done to pretty much any computer.

Perhaps the soldered down ram in the macbook air isn't such a bad idea ;-P

There are only 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who can read binary, and those who can't.

The soldered down ram wouldn't help against this attack as they can utilize your ram by booting from an external hard-drive with the attacking software on it.

Macbook Air is still gay.
