Default cant get virus removed from comp

I have a program installed thats a virus I know that, and when i go to add/remove programs to uninstall it, I click remove and nothing happens help please.

1.) How are you sure it's a virus
1 a.) If you're sure, if you know, whats the name of the virus, or what is it doing?
2.) Have you tried an anti-virus software (avg, McAfee, Norton, etc...)
3.) Have you booted in safe mode and tried uninstalling it then?
4.) What is the program?

ill try to reboot in safe mode and do it. yeah im sure it is a virus, the program is called system alert or something it somehow got installed on my computer.

SYSTEM ALERT i believe is a form of spyware or Malware..

Just get the name of it and search out the fix from a an anti-virus software site.

system alert is spyware im pretty sure. try running spybot s and d in safe mode. it should get rid of it. if it doesnt, try all the freeware programs u can find online like adaware and if none of htem work, im sure webroots spy sweeper can pwn the spyware(u have to buy it)

try an online scan. google "trend micro"
