Default Bit Defender 2008 plus a few others?

1)Here's the deal i bought bit defender 2008 a couple of months ago but it seems to cause a few problems..one was downloader from IE6 wouldn't start..I just re formatted and i'm not too sure that bit defender wasn't the reason..Running XP

Next i'm a 62 year old gamer..Yeah some kids never grow up........so i want low impact resource usage on my comp....older AMD 2800cpu 1.35 Gb of ram and Nvidia 6800XT....so if you think Bit Defender is a dud..What about avast free edition or NOD32..Basically i'm trying to decide between the 3...

ava free version because bitdefender takes up alot of resources, and I mean, ALOT! laugh out loud. anyway,

your pc ain't half bad, they should run a few good games and older ones easy.

goodluck

NOD32 uses less of your system than the new AVG free, and is a lot better IMO. Only downside is it isn't free.
