disspy is a damn good spyware scaner and spyware blaster do you want links? both are free

every suggestion there is great, but will all fail depending on your browsing habbits. if you download alot of software, or go to crack sites or porn sites, chances are even with all those security features and assuming everything is all up to date, you will still get a nasty bug or worse if you visit the wrong site so keep that in mind as well.
