maybe im just boring but i think

Spyware : windows defender . especially in vista

Firewall : Windows Firewall

Anti Virus : symantec . not norton this is the corporate version.

Adware : AdAware SE

please tell me if im going wrong with these but ever since i have had a comp i have used these and i can honestly say never had problem.

Those are all good (besides the fact that spyware and adware are the same things) but if you're going to pay for an antivirus, get NOD32, hands down the best.

hmmm i wouldnt really trust the windows firewall. i would only use it on a comp i dont use much

I use it, but I'm also behind a router with a hardware firewall, so...

Well, I changed what I use recently, firewall wise at least. It's in my sig.
