Default best anti-malware software?

What's the best software to prevent malware infections? The best to detect infections? The best to eradicate them? The best single all-in-one product?

I'm running Nortons and Malwarebytes with no problems, other suits to consider would be Avira, Avast, AVG, Eset, Kaspersky.

This is my opinion only and they all have their pros and cons.

Other people will have other choices depending on their experiences.

Try the trial versions of these programs and make your own descision.

Cheers

SpyBot It doesn't run in the background so it's not live protection but it still gets rid a lot of nasty stuff.

Probably the best way to prevent malware it just to browse carefully.

I run Clamwin and AVG on my windows computers. I used to have ClamAV on linux but decided it was useless.
