Default AVZ Antiviral Toolkit by Kaspersky

what are your thoughts on this tool

i would not use the AVZGuard and take note of what it finds in case of false positives but it's Kaspersky

I've never used it. There are a lot of on line scanners that are good.
My favorite is ESET On line scanner. It can also show false positives.

You will get all kinds of replies about which is the best. I suggest you use the one you feel comfortable with and don't be afraid to try different ones.

PS always practice safe surfing habits and back up your OS on a regular basis. Be prepared is my motto!!

Sounds good to me friend. I'm sure it's a good on demand scanner. I just have never used it. I'm hung up on ESET on line scanner, but I'm sure Kaspersky will Get-er-Done also. Any thing to help get malware cleaned up is good. My motto is what ever works for you; and you have confidence in it, use it. I'll give it a look!!
Thanks James!
