Default AVG detecting restore file as a virus

Hi, I just installed AVG and it is detecting some restore files as viruses. I don't know if this is a false alarm or if I should do something about it. I let AVG remove the threat, but it keeps coming back, because obviously my computer automatically makes restore points. What should I do?

Not use AVG and try Avast home edition. you have to sign up but it is free and i use it on all my computers, works perfect. There are others i have, but that one is my favorite.

To remove infected files from your restore points you will need to clear them all.

Firstly ensure there are no viruses on you pc (don't worry about in restore points), next is to disable restore to clear the infected points, then re-enable restore and create a restore point.

+1 for Avast too btw, it's what I use

If you are sure that the restore files are clean, just have AVG ignore them.

Get the 30 day test drive. It's fully functional.
