Which is a question, I shouldn't do some research, you should. Mainly because if you believe that not many mobo's support the AMD Athlon 64 3400+ S939 then you are dumb, because all socket 939 mobo's support it, and if you haven't noticed socket 939 is flourishing...so I have no idea what you're talking about when you say not many motherboards support that CPU. What surprises me is that you're saying that when it seems you shop from newegg, because every single one of these boards http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ubmit=Property
Supports your CPU.

Wrong, The CPU i have has 800MHz Hyper Transport, not 1000MHZ like most others. Most Mobos, although some have had a bios fixes for this, will see the 800mhz as a serious underclock and not boot up. This problem was found when the cpu was first availible for sale, but was later fixed by some mobos w/ a new bios. So no not "all" support it.
