Well, it's come time for me to scrounge for extra cash. I'm selling any old crap I don't use/need anymore to make some money. I'm wondering how much I can get for this stuff. I'm going to list the PS2 games first:
Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec Gran Turismo 4 Ford Racing 2 Ford Racing 3 Ford vs. Chevy Corvette Flatout Indy Car Series Supercar Street Challenge Test Drive Stunt Man Motocross Mania 3 Power Drome World of Outlaws Sprint Cars (2002) IHRA Drag Racing Sportsman Edition IHRA Drag Racing 2 ATV Offroad Fury 3 MX Unleashed Burnout 2: Point of Impact Crazy Taxi Digital Hitz Facotry Def Jam Vendetta Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 WWF/WWE Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain Rainbow Six 3 Rainbow Six Lockdown SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals Max Payne Scarface: The World is Not Enough Grand Theft Auto III Grand Theft Auto Vice City Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Need for Speed Underground Need for Speed Underground 2 Need for Speed Most Wanted Need for Speed Carbon Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition NCAA Football 08 Madden 08 Madden 07 Hall of Fame Edition Madden 05 MLB 05 Triple Play Baseball NFL Blitz 2005 NHL 2001 Guitar Hero II + Controller (open box set) Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock I also have the hardware: PS2 (original "fat") console 3 or 4 controllers (2 original style; 2 madcatz style) Multitap Network Adapter Madcatz Steering wheel I went through one by one on ebay completed listings and took the lowest prices for everything. The games totaled $265 and the "hardware" totaled $87. How much do YOU think I could reasonably get out of this without being ripped off? Also, I'm assuming selling individually will get more, or won't it? Anyone had experience selling this much junk hahaha? And the PS1 crap. Games: Gran Turismo Gran Turismo 2 Test Drive 4 Test Drive 5 Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed Need for Speed High Stakes Twisted Metal Twisted Metal 2 Vigilante 8 V-Rally 2: Need for Speed Nascar '99 Sno-Cross Championship Racing IHRA Drag Racing Road Rash: Jailbreak Spec Ops: Ranger Elite Gunfighter: Legend of Jesse James G-Police Syphon Filter 2 Syphon Filter 3 Grand Theft Auto Tomb Raider V.I.P. with Pamela Anderson Battlestations 007: The World is Not Enough The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home The Dukes of Hazzard: Daisy Dukes it Out Casper Klonoa: Door to Phantomile Atari: Anniversary Edition Redux Pro-Pinball Pro-Pinball: Big Race USA JetMoto Billiards Arcade Greatest Hits The Midway Collection 2 Cool Boarders 3 Ready2Rumble Boxing Smackdown 2 Know Your Role NFL Blitz 2001 "Hardware": Console 2 controllers (neither original) Steering wheel Again, I ebay'd the stuff. Games totaled around $209, hardware a measly $25. That's a potential to make about $575 or so. However, I understand I shouldn't get my hopes. Anyone have any opinions? I was thinking craiglist as a "lot" to begin with--each system separately. |

I haven't had to sell that many old console+games so I'm just going off gut feeling here. However, I wouldn't sell the items individually as you're not going to sell all of them and be stuck with some crap games you wanted to get rid of in the first place. For the PS2 bundle, I would shoot for a $350 mark and then see what contacts you get, that's not too far fetched as you have 40+ games and accessories. I would empasize some of the better games that you have in the bundle, specifically the Guitar Hero games, Need for Speed games and GTA.
For the PS1 bundle, I wouldn't expect to sell it at all but I could be wrong. Start at $225 and accept offers? What does anyone else think?

I agree. Don't worry, I'm not thinking I'm going to get what I listed for them. To some people, I'm getting ripped off, but I see it the complete opposite: they are sitting in a box taking up space, I'm trying to declutter my life, so why not get some cash for them? I think starting off at $350 for the PS2 stuff is reasonable--it leaves me so "waggle room" for people that think they can save a few bucks by talking me down. As for the PS1 stuff, I realize they aren't worth as much. I may just start it at $215 and see what happens. If I can't sell them as a lot, I think I'll have to just keep them, or maybe sell them on ebay individually--but that's SUCH a pain in the butt.
