i really need another HD... right now i have 20gb of space... and im using like half of that... i really need some more HD space..

Well be more specific, saying I need a harddrive is a very vague and general statement.

Does your computer have sata ports? IDE? What rpm?

What brand do you prefer, what size do you want?

I have 2 hard drives. A 120 and 40 GB IDE HDD. They are 7200 RPM.

well i really dont know thats y i created the thread... Whats SATA... what th ifference... which hard drive is the fastest file transfering... i dont know these things...

i could live with somewhere around 150gig...

Does your hard drive cable look like the one on the left or right? Left is IDE, right is SATA:
