How RAM can make a difference!

So this article is telling me that my 32bit sony windows 7 laptop can only take on 4gb MAX?!... whackkk

Not only that but a Win 7 32 bit system can only make use of approximately 3.6GB or so RAM, not even the full 4GB.

Well, that is because of the factory settings that windows have on it. but damn.. i was planning to upgrade my ram on my laptop too!!!

Factory settings? To me, thst implies that these settings could be somehow over ridden, which is not the case. Think of it as overhead.
