I have a problem with my main PC. I was on the net early this morning and later when I tried to get on I get a "DNS not resolved" error. No matter what site I tried it's all the same.

I'm on my Kubuntu box right now and here I am. There is no flag in Device Manager and all devices working so I don't know what to look for. Can the Ethernet port be out and look normal? My mobo is Gigabyte AB350M-DS3H ATX AM4 with Ryzen 5 2600.

Thanks.

Does the icon in the System Tray show you as connected?

I've had the mobo built-in Ethernet ports go bad on me. Luckily, I had a Ethernet port PCI card that I could throw in to get back running again. If you don't have one, they're pretty cheap to buy.

problem solved. It was a config for DNS lookup server. Apparently it went offline.

Forgot to mention that I changed the configs to DNS Watch server. Was using Cloudflare.
