He wants my address so he can send a check to me. The check will bounce but he will have the money and the stuff.

The way these guys work is that they offer to buy your item sight unseen. They will send you a money order or check for the full asking price of the item plus extra to cover shipping and such. By the time you find out the payment is no good, you have already paid the shipping cost to send them the item. At that point, you're out the full amount of their payment, not to mention that they got your item for free.
