Is there any use of left over built-in rechargeable batteries?

That's the one. :thumb:

It's regulated unlike a wall wart.

You can make a powerful handheld flashlight out of it.

I see...

That flashlight is a cool idea. Maybe one of those 12v car LED spot lights. Sometime before the poles catch rust any leave the whole thing dead, I guess.

Or maybe I'll reassemble the whole thing canceling the computer part. It is why this miserable thing broke in the first place.

Can I recharge it thru car cig lighter and would it be similar to a trickle charger? My car's cig lighter is connected to a 16amp fuse and I think its share alone is something like 10amps since it can run the laptop with its 120w power brick thru an inverter (12v X 10amp = 120w). Knowing it's DC like the battery, would it have an edge over the AC trickle charger?

Sniff sniff... hey, what's cooking?!?!

Holy sh... the battery!

:p

Guess I'll stick with that trinket charger then. Better safe than blown up.

Dan's right. It regulated for the car battery but it won't even notice the little battery so yeah, it'll cook it.
